(We still have some calendars available £10 each)

Our 2023 calendar features dogs we have homed recently but also many who we have said ‘goodbye’ to.

In January we feature Boysie who died just at the beginning of the year.

Carolyn initially took Boysie in as a foster in early January 2019, after losing her beloved Shanti over Christmas.

Boysie’s elderly owner had died and the family were struggling to cope with him. He needed to come in but we had no space, so we picked him up on a dark January night and took him straight over to Carolyn.

His chip details revealed he was 12, older than we had been told.

He fitted into Carolyn’s life and she agreed to keep him for the time he had left. Despite having a ‘wobbly’ back leg, which we had checked out and which improved with regular exercise, he went on to live a further four years.

Our sympathies to Carolyn for her loss and thanks for giving him a wonderful, extra, four years.
