Our first dog show since 2019 it was good to be back.

My grateful thanks to Jane and Carolyn whose initial enthusiasm meant we considered it to Sarah Coombe agreeing to judge, Jimmy for immediately saying he would help and bringing Tilly and Lee and Tracy for supplying the ring and setting up, plus bringing their friends Justin and Bob and Tracy for being our super efficient show secretary (without which a show can’t run.) Thanks too for Jane’s friends Bea and Lizzie and not forgetting Jane’s hubbie Dave and my husband Dave.

Having so many willing helpers definitely made for a good show. Thank you to you all.

Attendance was a little disappointing but entries were high.

There were 5 entries in our Guildford Stafford class and Best in Show was Guildford Stafford Jack.

Thanks to Orchard Rosettes for our gorgeous rosettes

While another Guildford Stafford our dear Ethel was Reserve BIS

It was obvious our judge Sarah was a Bull terrier fan and the Bullies loved her. Lettuce won waggiest tail.

We did have other breeds

Temptation Alley proved too much for most (was it a pig’s ear or squeaky ball?

And everyone could try their hand at Have A Go Agility.

Altogether a great day and nearly £400 raised towards the rescue.

See you next year.
